# 225 : The Melbourne Tree scarf is one of a number of really clever, quirky, Melbourne themed scarves designed by Maree Coote for Melbourne Style.  It features a stylised tree design containing a variety of local Australian birds, embellished with a mad mix of local floral blossoms from banksia to wisteria. The names and addresses of a dozen of Melbourne’s legendary parks and gardens are rendered in fine script between the branches. Smoke, black and white on warm white silk give a pearly luxury. 100% SILK 97x97cm. You browse and buy it and a whole bunch of other clever designs here.

# 219 : I am a bit of a sucker for a yummy handknit – and a cableknit even more so (hard to tell if you are a regular visit to my blog really!!!) So when I saw this amazing (read amazing) Burberry giant chunky cableknit scarf in my travels … I just had to bring it to your attention. It makes me want to pick up the knitting needles (because I certainly can’t afford to buy one at USD850.00).  It’s long long long (200cm) and knitted in 100% cotton. GORGEOUS!!!!!!!  So, if you have the best part of a thousand dollars in your bottom drawer …  you can get one from Burberry online.
