# 364 : Clever, bold, different, stunning, appropriate to the brand and still delightfully fresh … from the Hermes 2008/2009 campaign. Delicious.
# 362 : Digital prints have been big in fashion for some time now. Digitally printing allows you to relatively cost effectively print small runs of intricate and interesting designs – there are even companies who will print your own designs onto fabric. This gorgeous cotton/silk digitally printed multi coloured scarf from d-lux is called Mask for fairly obvious reasons. You will be able to get it online from mid April.
# 335 : Today it is wet and humid in Melbourne… definitely not scarf weather. But if I was to wear a scarf today … what would it be I wonder? Ok … I have decided !!!! From my personal stash … this is the one … hand loomed, pure silk, hand dyed and hand appliqued … it’s so sheer … and the colour is divine. The brand d-lux of course!!! This colour is no longer available but there is a gorgeous blue one here.
# 333 : We have previously established that I work every day with scarves … what a job for a woman who loves a good scarf. In any case … February is our busiest time of year … our Winter launch (southern hemisphere) …. and a couple of trade shows in Sydney. It’s a whirlwind and I really don’t get much time to sit back and enjoy the new range until it’s all settled down. We have a little challenge every year to dress our “girls” in scarves as part of our display. Here is our Japanese flavoured mannequin … all decked our in a selection of navy and burnt orange … a truly gorgeous combination. She is now on her way to Sydney for the Reed Gift Fair or maybe Life In Style. The winter range will be available selected boutiques throughout Australia and New Zealand and at d-luxonline.com early in March. Roll on winter.
