# 333 : We have previously established that I work every day with scarves … what a job for a woman who loves a good scarf. In any case … February is our busiest time of year … our Winter launch (southern hemisphere) …. and a couple of trade shows in Sydney. It’s a whirlwind and I really don’t get much time to sit back and enjoy the new range until it’s all settled down. We have a little challenge every year to dress our “girls” in scarves as part of our display. Here is our Japanese flavoured mannequin … all decked our in a selection of navy and burnt orange … a truly gorgeous combination. She is now on her way to Sydney for the Reed Gift Fair or maybe Life In Style. The winter range will be available selected boutiques throughout Australia and New Zealand and at d-luxonline.com early in March. Roll on winter.
# 314 : ok I know … but just ONE more and then that’s it. Promise !!! This image features two divine d-lux scarves. Trend – a gorgeous drapey large pure wool shawl with twisted fringes in Ochre …. this colour will be big this Winter – together with Lacey – a deliciously soft wool mix lace knit piece in grey …. gorgeous around the neck styled with a yummy grey asymmetric knit dress and once again those fabulous Tony Bianco suede boots (which will also be available online soon from the Bianco website). It was sooooo hot, humid and stuffy in the studio that day … and Melody layered up in all manner of wools and leathers and prodded and poked was amazingly cool about it all. Cannot speak highly enough of her as a model (quite apart from how gorgeous she looks).
