# 188 : We’ve gone tribal in our household this week. That presupposes that we are not tribal any other week of the Australian football season. But it is preliminary final week ….. do or die! And my team – the mighty Collingwood Magpies (or Pies for short) is playing tonight … we are ready, willing and looking forward to the fight (and that’s just the fans). And we will be showing our true colours (not really colours for the pedantic of you out there). Black and White. The only colours that matter. Go Pies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
POSTSCRIPT SATURDAY ….. We won an extremely hard fought match against what everyone thought was the better team on the night – we did not really deserve the win …. but we’ll take it : GRAND FINAL NEXT WEEK!!!! We get to have our hearts in our throats all over again next Saturday afternoon.

187 : More ETSY handknits. Can’t get enough of them. This one is a handknit scarf/cowl in a horizontal rib pattern with an interesting cable detail along the top edge. Made by Lulubazaar …. it’s USD20.00 although it looks like she ships only to contintental United States so not available to us far southerners. It’s very similar in style to a Morris & Sons piece that I knit earlier this year in a mixture of 2 ply and 8 ply contrasting yarns.
